Building on the successes and achievements of the European Union in recent years, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will present the main priorities and flagship initiatives for the coming year in her State of the Union 2023 address. As stated in a post on the official website of the European Commission, the State of the Union address will take place on Wednesday, 13 September in Strasbourg in the presence of MEPs. This will be the last address in this legislative mandate, ahead of the 2024 European elections.
