Discussion on security and guarantees begins with small delay in Crans Montana

The discussion on the issues of security and guarantees, with the participation of the two sides in Cyprus and the three guarantor powers, namely the UK, Greece, and Turkey, began with a half-hour delay in Crans Montana, at 1930 local time, in the framework of talks to solve the Cyprus problem.

Earlier on, the UN Secretary General’s Special Adviser on Cyprus Espen Barth Eide concluded separate meetings with President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci.
