Defence Minister and OSCE PA President discuss Ukraine and security in Europe

The security situation in Europe in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, as well as its consequences, was the main topic of discussion during a meeting, on Thursday, between Defence Minister Charalambos Petrides and the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Margareta Cederfelt, in Nicosia.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Defence, during the meeting, also attended by the Vice President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Irene Charalambides, Petrides expressed his support for the work of the OSCE, an organization, as he stressed, with special importance for the security of Europe, particularly for the respect of the Helsinki Final Act.
