Cyprus stands together with the US in the fight against terrorism, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks carried out on September 11, 2001.
The MFA said on a post on platform X that “on this day, 11 September 2001, the world stood still.”
“We remember the thousands of innocent victims, the first respondents, and all those whose lives have been affected by this heinous terrorist act, the Ministry added.
“We stand together with the US in the fight against terrorism,” it noted, highlighting the ‘Never Forget 11 September 2001’ slogan.
