Cyprus President sends condolences to Putin over airplane crash

President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades sent a message of condolences to Russian President Vladimir Putin over the February 11th airplane crash that cost the lives of 71 people.

According to an announcement by the Presidency, in his message to Putin, President Anastasiades said that he received with sorrow the tragic news of the plane crash in the outskirts of Moscow.

On behalf of the Cypriot people and me personally, I convey my warmest condolences to the Russian people and the government of the Russian Federation, as well as my full support to the families and the relatives of the victims the President concludes.
