Cyprus President meets his Georgian counterpart, delegations of the two countries hold talks

Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, attended this morning in Tbilisi, where he is paying an official visit, a private meeting with his Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvili. After the meeting expanded talks between the delegations of the two countries took place.

A press release issued by the Presidency said that President Anastasiades was earlier this morning officially welcomed at the Presidential Palace in Tbilisi by the President of Georgia.

The President arrived at the Presidential Palace acccompanied by the members of the Cypriot delegation, while a military guard presented honours. Following that, the national anthems of Cyprus and Georgia were performed.
