Cyprus police issue 24 fines for COVID-19 measures violations

Police in Cyprus fined 14 people and 10 owners of establishments in the last 24 hours in the context of checks carried out about the implementation of measures in place to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

As a police press officer told CNA, 3,157 checks were carried out across Cyprus in the last 24 hours.

 

In Nicosia out of 1,252 checks 8 individuals and 2 owners of establishments were fined, in Limassol out 252 checks 9 individuals, in Larnaca out of 514 checks one individual was fined, in Pafos out of 537 checks 8 owners of establishments were fined, in Famagusta out of 381 checks 6 individuals were fined, while in Morphou police reported no-one after 89 checks.
