Cyprus participated in the meeting of the expert group of the Commission on the certification of payment accounts in Brussels, where, among other things, Guidelines 3, 4, and 5 were discussed in the context of the changes being promoted through the new strategic plan for the Common Agricultural Policy.
According to a statement by the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organization, (CAPO) representatives from payment organizations, coordination bodies, and certification bodies from all member states participated in the meeting. Cyprus was represented by three experts from CAPO and the Certification Organisation.
The meeting discussed, among other things, Guidelines 3, 4, and 5 in light of the changes being promoted through the new strategic plan for the Common Agricultural Policy, as well as the evaluation of the governance system of the payment organizations.
