The Cyprus Olympic Committee presented a positive review of Cypriot athletes’ participation and performance in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, during a press conference on Wednesday.
Cyprus team at the Tokyo Olympic Games included 15 athletes, who despite giving their best performances, returned home without a medal. Cyprus’ sole Olympic medal to date came in sailing at the 2012 Games in London, where Pavlos Kontides won silver in the men`s Laser.
