Cyprus MPs to attend General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy in Tbilisi

Cyprus Parliamentarians travel to Tbilisi, Georgia, on Tuesday to attend the 26th Annual General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy. The delegations comprises MPs Angelos Votsis, Evanthia Savva and Elias Myrianthous.

According to a press release issued Sunday by the Cyprus House, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, in the presence of the President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili, will open the General Assembly deliberations during an official ceremony at the Parliament.

The Parliament will host an exhibit of contemporary iconography titled “The Resurrection of Hesus Christ”.

The participants will also be received by Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.
