Cyprus Meteorology Department issues new warning for extremely high temperature

Cyprus Meteorology Department has issued a new warning for extremly high temperature. It is valid from Monday, June 28, at 1800 local time, until Tuesday, June 29, at 1700. The awareness level is “yellow”.

As it is noted, night minimum temperature is not expected to be less than 26 degrees celsius over inland and coastal areas. Inland maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 41 degrees celsius and to 32 degrees over higher mountainous areas.
