Cyprus’ department of meteorology issued a yellow alert for extreme high temperature on Friday.
The warning comes into effect tomorrow from 1100 local time until 1700.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 41 Celsius over inland areas and around 32 over the highest mountainous areas.
