Cyprus-Greece-Egypt Parliament Presidents to hold February their first trilateral meeting in Nicosia

The Presidents of Parliaments of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt are expected to hold their first trilateral meeting in mid-February, in Nicosia. President of the Cyprus House of Representatives Demetris Syllouris discussed Monday about this meeting with Egypt’s Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal, in Cairo.

Syllouris and Aal focused in particular on the positive results the trilateral meeting will have for their people. Syllouris is in Egypt to attend the inauguration of the largest Coptic cathedral and Islamic mosque in the Middle East, located in the country’s new administrative capital, 45 klm south of Cairo.

Aal extended a warm welcome to Syllouris, who in turn thanked him for the honor of inviting him to this significant event. The two Presidents also had the chance to review bilateral parliamentary relations between Cyprus and Egypt.
