Cyprus FM and US Deputy National Security Adviser discuss bilateral ties and Cyprus issue

Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Ioannis Kasoulides, who is accompanying President Nicos Anastasiades in Washington, met on Wednesday with US National Security Deputy Adviser Ricky Waddell to discuss the Cyprus problem, bilateral issues and regional developments.

The meeting was held in preparation of the meeting between President Anastasiadess and US Vice President Mike Pence at the White House on Thursday.

Kasoulides and Waddell discussed relations between the two countries, the role of Cyprus and cooperation between Cyprus and the US in the backdrop of developments in the region, as well as the Cyprus problem.
