Cyprus Defence Minister, Charalambos Petrides, visited on Sunday the French aircraft carrier “Charles De Gaulle” which is at sea off the coast of Cyprus.
In a written statement, Petrides noted that he was briefed about the mission and more generally the operations that the aircraft carrier conducts in the Eastern Mediterranean region. He recalled that it had docked in Cyprus on May 10-16 for maintenance and support services, after coordination between the Cypriot and the French authorities.
