Cyprus and EU Commission discuss modalities of National Recovery and Resilience Plan

The Cypriot authorities and the European Commission are in discussions over the modalities of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan aiming to draw €1.2 billion from the EU’s pandemic Recovery and Resilience Fund – Next Generation EU, a Finance Ministry source told CNA on Wednesday.

The same source said that in 2021 Cyprus will receive a first disbursement amounting to €120 million while the remaining funds will be disbursed in the period of 2021 – 2026.
