Cyprus and Egypt decided the establishment of a Joint Maritime Committee in the context of the first Intergovernmental meeting between the two countries, held in Cairo last Saturday.
According to a press release by Deputy Ministry of Shipping, Cypriot Deputy Minister Vassilios Demetriades had a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Kamel Al Wazir.
The meeting confirmed the excellent relations between the two countries in the field of shipping and reviewed the Bilateral Shipping Agreement, signed in 2006.
