Cyprus’ Agriculture Minister at Informal Environment Council

Cyprus’ Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment Costas Kadis has departed for Graz, Austria, to participate in the EU Informal Transport and Environment Council, organised by the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council, on October 29 and 30.

According to a press release, the Council meeting begins on Monday with a discussion on the future of the European environment policy, especially the future 8th Environment Action Plan.

In a common meeting, on October 30, the EU Ministers of Environment and Transport will discuss the challenges, solutions and strategies regarding the ways in which the transition to safer and cleaner transport, with low carbon emissions, can be achieved.
