Cypriot and Greek Foreign Ministers discuss Cyprus problem in Athens

The Cyprus problem was discussed on Wednesday during a meeting of the Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and his Greek counterpart Nicos Kotzias, in Athens, Greece.

“We always express our solidarity with the Cypriot people, our position that the anachronistic system of guarantees should be terminated and the occupation troops should leave (the island)” said Nicos Kotzias adding that he exchanged views with Kasoulides and they briefed each other.

The Cypriot Foreign Minister said there are various consultations under-way as regards the Cyprus problem, that require regular consultation between the two countries and that was the reason of his visit.
