Contract signed for conservation works at Archangel Michael Church

The Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage, the European Commission, and UNDP (United Nations Development Program) have announced the signature of works contract for conservation works at Archangel Michael Church.

A press release sent to the Media on Monday says that conservation works to the church will last eight months and will cost approximately 390,000 Euros, fully funded by the European Union.

With this project the Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage aims at consolidating and stabilising the church to the maximum extent possible, in order to bring the building back to its original state.
