Consumption per capita varies between 53% and 132% across the EU, at 91% in Cyprus

Consumption per capita varied between 53% and 132% of the EU average, in 2016, according to Eurostat, the Statistical Service of the EU. In Cyprus Actual Individual Consumption (AIC) stood at 91% of the EU average in 2016, stable compared to 2015 (91%), rising form the levels fo 2014 (89%). At the same time, GDP per capita in Cyprus steadily increased to 83% of the Eu average in 2016 (up from 82% in 2015 and 81% in 2014), said Eurostat.
