President hopes that as barriers of communication have been lifted, the dividing line will also be removed

Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, has expressed the hope that as the barriers of communication between the two sides of the divide in Cyprus have been lifted, the line dividing the country will also be removed.

According to diplomatic sources that informed CNA, the processing of the measures has been completed in substance and their choice, but there is a disagreement as to the final verbal formulation of the last relevant paragraph of the text.

Isabelle Dumont will succeed Rene Troccaz as the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Cyprus. The 44-year-old diplomat is currently serving as the French Ambassador in Ukraine.

Troccaz announced on Wednesday evening, during a reception held in Nicosia, on the occasion of the National Day of France, that his term-in-office to Cyprus is coming to an end after three and a half years. He will leave the island next month, while Dumont is expected to present her credentials to Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, in September.

Building permits value up by 133% in January April 2019 due to large projects in Limassol
