Second Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan takes place in Amman

The second Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan takes place on Sunday in Amman. Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the King of Jordan Abdullah II will discuss, among others, about energy issues, regional developments, investments, the Cyprus problem, EU-Jordan relations, and tourism. Moreover, bilateral and trilateral agreements will be signed.

President arrives in Amman for Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades arrived this morning in Amman, Jordan, to attend the second Trilateral Summit among Cyprus, Greece and Jordan. Anastasiades was welcomed at the airport by the Foreign Minister of Jordan Ayman Safadi. Anastasiades is accompanied to Jordan by Foreign Minister, Nicos Christodoulides, Deputy Minister of Tourism Savvas Perdios and Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou.

Cyprus and Iraq enhance relations in the fields of tourism end economy

Turkish side not responding to efforts to resume Cyprus talks, Presidential Commissioner says

The Turkish side is not responding to efforts to lift the deadlock and proceed with the resumption of settlement talks in Cyprus, said Presidential Commissioner Photis Photiou, querying whether the Turkish demand for a positive vote on all decisions is a sign of political equality or rather political inequality. Photiou was addressing the Conference of the Federation of Cypriot American Organizations, on Saturday in New York, in the presence of representatives from all organizations, Archbishop Demetrios of America, Cypriot and Greek diplomats and the MEP and President of the Solidarity Movement, Eleni Theocharous.

Health Minister in Bucharest for informal EU meeting

Health Minister Constantinos Ioannou departs on Sunday for Bucharest to attend the informal meeting of Health Ministers, on April 14 and 15, in the framework of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. According to an announcement, circulated by PIO, EU Health Ministers will discuss, among others, the issue of universal access to medication for patients, hepatitis and the implementation of a European Directive concerning cross-border medical coverage.
