President travels to China for Second Belt and Road Forum

President of the Republic Nicos Anastasiades travels to China on Monday, at the invitation of the President of the Peoples Republic of China Xi Jinping, to attend the Second Belt and Road Forum, Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou told reporters on Monday.

Natural gas may act as catalyst for regional peace and stability, Egyptian Minister says

Minister of Petroleum Tarek El Molla has said that natural gas may act as a catalyst in the promotion of peace and stability in the region. El Molla was speaking during a meeting with House of Representatives President Demetris Syllouris. Syllouris also met with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation as well as regional security.
