President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has expressed his commitment to continue working with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while congratulating him for the results in Tuesday’s parliamentary elections.

Cyprus to host first trilateral summit between leaders of Cyprus, Greece and Lebanon later this year

Cypriot Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides announced that Cyprus will host the first trilateral summit between Cyprus, Greece and Lebanon later this year, during which the leaders of the three countries will have the opportunity to review the progress that has been achieved and to map the further development of their cooperation.

Co-chairs of the bicommunal Technical Committees in Cyprus were informed on Wednesday during a meeting in the UN-protected area in Nicosia, with the participation of the UNSGs Special Representative in Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar, and other officials from the UN good offices mission in Cyprus, UNDP in Cyprus, and the European Commission, about the new “Support to the Bi-Communal Technical Committees Facility” and the way it will be implemented.

State borrows Euros 7.2 million through 6-year retail bonds issue

The state has borrowed Euros 7.2 million through the latest issue of 6-year bonds for natural persons. The Public Debt Management Office said on Wednesday that applications for the 4th series (April 2019) were accepted until 20 March.
