Netanyahu and Anastasiades discuss convening of new tripartite meeting

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades have discussed the possibility of convening a tripartite meeting with Greece in late April or early May. According to reliable sources, the two leaders had a telephone conversation on Monday evening during which Netanyahu congratulated Anastasiades on his re-election on Sunday and they discussed the next tripartite meeting of Greece, Cyprus and Israel.

Registered unemployed continue downward trend in January

The number of registered unemployed continued its downward trend in January both on a monthly and an annual basis, official data posted on Monday by the Cyprus Statistical Service show.

Retail trade volume up by 0.5% in Cyprus in November

In November 2017, latest available data, retail trade volume increased in Cyprus by 0.5% in monthly and by 7.0% in annual basis, according to Eurostat.
