President Anastasiadis may rely on the solidarity of his counterparts in the European Council, an EU official has said, formally briefing the Press in Brussels on Thursdays and Fridays European Council Summit. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said that Turkey’s actions in the Eastern Mediterranean are a sign of its weakness and isolation. Actual Individual Consumption (AIC) per capita in Cyprus reached 94 points in 2018, according to data released by Eurostat, the statistical service of the EU. Cyprus GDP per capita reached 87% (where 100 is the EU average). Meanwhile in Greece AIC per capita was 76 points and GDP per capita at 68%.
