Cyprus President and Turkish Cypriot leader to meet second half of February

President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades and the Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci arranged on Wednesday to meet in the second half of February. Parliamentary party leaders will convene on Friday, at 1000 local time (0800 GMT), at the Presidential Palace, under President Anastasiades, who will brief them on the latest developments in the Cyprus problem. Meanwhile, the UN Secretary Generals Special Representative in Cyprus, Elizabeth Spehar, has expressed readiness to facilitate contact between the leaders in Cyprus.
