President: We are ready to enter a dialogue today from where Cyprus talks broke off in 2017

The Greek Cypriot side is trying to pass the clear message regarding its positions � and the message is one � that it is ready to begin the dialogue on the Cyprus issue as early as today from where it broke off in 2017, President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades said on Monday.

UNSGs Special Envoy holds new meetings with the leaders

The UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy on Cyprus, Jane Holl Lute, will hold on Monday new meetings with Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci, with a view to formulate the terms of reference that will pave the way for the resumption of the settlement talks on Cyprus. President Anastasiades met Lute on Sunday as well. Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou said it was a good and productive meeting.

Cypriot 10-year bond yields decline below 2%

Cyprus ten-year bond yield declined below the 2% barrier in February, marking a new all time low, according to data analysed by CNA.

Industrial producer prices down by -0.2% in Cyprus for December 2018, down by 0.8% in the EA19

?n December 2018, compared with November 2018, industrial producer prices fell by 0.8% in both the euro area (EA19) and the EU28 and by 0.2% in Cyprus, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In November 2018, prices decreased by 0.3% in the euro area, by 0.5% in the EU28 and by 1.2% in Cyprus.
