President Anastasiades calls on the Turkish side to clarify whether it accepts the UNSGs parameters

The President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has called on Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot leader to clarify their position and say whether they accept or not the parameters set by the UN Secretary General at the Crans Montana Cyprus talks last July.

Cyprus registers the largest drop in unemployment rates in March 2018

Cyprus recorded the largest annual decrease in unemployment in March 2018, with 9.1% (compared to 12.3% a year ago), followed by Greece (from 23.2% to 20.6% between January 2017 and January 2018), Croatia (from 11.8% to 9.4%) and Portugal (from 9.7% to 7.4%), according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
