Crime rate down by 30% in recent years, says President Anastasiades

Crime rate has decreased by 30% in recent years and this proves the efficiency of the measures taken and the adequate training and management of the Police, President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has said. The President was speaking on Monday at a ceremony during which the foundation stone was laid for the new Famagusta Police Department, in Paralimni, on the southeast of Cyprus.

All charges against defendants dismissed in Bank of Cyprus second criminal case

Price of construction materials increases in November

The Price Index of Construction Materials for November 2017 reached 102,03 units (base year 2010=100,00), recording an increase of 0,52% compared to October 2017, according to data released Monday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus. For the period January – November 2017, the index recorded an increase of 0,52% compared to the same period of 2016.
