President Anastasiades to meet with Lute again on Monday

The President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades will have another meeting with the UN Secretary-General’s Special Adviser, Jane Holl Lute, on Monday, the Presidential Palace announced ahead of today’s first meeting. Jane Holl Lute is in Cyprus for contacts with the leaders, in an effort to formulate the terms of reference that will pave the way for the resumption of settlement talks in Cyprus. The UN envoy met on Sunday morning with the Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci. She is expected to meet with President Anastasiades later this afternoon.

In statements to CNA on Saturday, Government Spokesman Prodromos Prodromou said the

Greek Cypriot side expects to see progress with regard to an agreement on the terms of reference, during the Lutes visit.
