Bratislava: With the aim of promoting relations between the business communities of Cyprus, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), in cooperation with the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, the Trade Centre of the Republic of Cyprus in Vienna, and the Cyprus-Slovakia and Cyprus-Czech Republic Business Associations, organised a Business Mission, Fora, and B2B meetings in Bratislava and Prague on 26 and 28 November 2024, respectively.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a press release from CCCI noted that the Secretary General of the CCCI, Marios Tsiakkis, addressed the fora and highlighted the attractiveness of Cyprus as an investment destination, particularly emphasizing the provision of services, technology, and the real estate market.
During the meetings, issues of mutual interest were discussed, including the strategic advantages of the two countries. Presentations by participating Cypriot companies also took place, where they applauded the benefits of Cy
prus as a prime location for investment. They emphasized the opportunities available through the legal and tax system for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
Furthermore, the Cypriot companies expressed their readiness to enhance economic, trade, and business relations with Slovakia and the Czech Republic, demonstrating their commitment to fostering stronger ties and collaborations in the future.
