Berlusconi’s children agree 5-year Fininvest ‘lock-up’

Silvio Berlusconi’s five children signed an agreement for a five-year ‘lock-up’ of their stakes in the family holding company Fininvest as they completed the procedure to fully accept the late ex-premier’s will on Monday, sources said.

Under the lock-up, the heirs pledged not to alter their stakes in the company for the five years.

The five also agreed to settle the bequests Berlusconi made in his will to his brother Paolo Berlusconi, his last partner Marta Fascina and his former aide Marcello Dell’Utri according to their respective shares in his legacy.

So his elder children, Marina and Pier Silvio, will contribute 26% each and the other three, Barbara, Luigi and Eleonora, will cover 16% each.

Berlusconi left 100 million euros each to his brother and to Fascina and 30 million to Dell’Utri. (ANSA).
