Beer deliveries rise for third consecutive month

Total beer deliveries in Cyprus rose for a third consecutive month in April 2021, reflecting the partial normalization in social and economic activity and the opening for tourism, as part of the relaxation of restrictive measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic.

According to data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat), total beer deliveries in April reached almost 2.4 million litres, marking an increase of 11% compared with the previous month, while compared to April 2020, when Cyprus was in two-month lockdown and had a travel ban in place, beer deliveries marked an increase of 116%.
