A resolution on children’s access to health services was presented at the Social Affairs Committee of PACE

The lack of uniformity in Europe in relation to childrens access to basic health care services coupled with the fallout of the economic crisis and the escalating refugee and migrant crisis has affected key rights and the welfare of children, said Cypriot MP Stella Kyriakidou.

According to an official press release, Kyriakidou chaired the Committee meeting on Social Affairs, Health and Sustainable Development of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which has concluded in Paris.

Kyriakidou, who is a Rapporteur, presented a report and a draft resolution on “Securing children in Europe, access to health services.
